hi folks
i applied for ead renewal at vsc 5 wks back only reply i recieved is that vsc got money orders as the fee for renewal on 2/27/03, but it is not a notice of action...what to do next i still have 80 days left on my original ead
2. it has been 10 months since our first physical , do we need to repeat it again, also i expect a rfe for my wife as she had a positive TB test but was pregnant at that time and xray could not be done can we prevent getting an rfe somehow.

Ans 1:
If 90 days has passed since you applied, you can go in person to the nearest INS office and obtain a new EAD in person after producing proper documentation of your claim.

Ans 2:
Only if the INS calls for a new physical. Till a RFE is issued, stay positive. Many folks in this forum has gotten GC w/o a RFE. Enjoy life now.

We also never received any receipt for EAD from BCIS, but the AVM says our EAD renewal is approved.

I agree with Upstate_NY about medical. Sit tight! Dont give ideas to BCIS to delay your approval.

Ans: Maybe you should call BCIS or visit the nearest BCIS office to request a new EAD after 90 days have passed since you applied for one.

Ans: If you strongly believe that an RFE might be generated due to an incomplete/problematic medical report, you might want to get your medical done again and send the report to BCIS explaining the reason why you repeated the medical. Otherwise, you do not need to redo the medical.

I filed my EAD at VSC at the beginning of Feb. And when I was waiting for the receipt notice, to my suprise, I got the card mailed to my home 5 weeks later.
