Dear All,
This question may have been probably asked on this forum by someone earlier but i just wanted to present my case and get opinion from all you experts out there.
I have filed for EB2-NIW (self-petition and still pending) in July along with I-485. The company i work for is also sponsoring me for green card and my LCA is just approved. If i file another I-140 (company sponsored) and my NIW I-140 gets denied, does my I-485 automatically gets transferred to the new I-140 or does it get denied as well. Or do i have to apply to USCIS to get it transferred to the new I-140.
Please do air your opinions and experiences. Thanks a lot in advance.

santipawar question

I hope someone would answer your question as I am in the same boat. I had my LCA approved 4 months ago and have 2 months remaining. I also have I-140 (NIW-self)/I-485 concurrently filed and pending since July. They sent us the stuff for finger printing on 10/25 and an LUD was reflected on the online case status on the same day. There was also a LUD on the I-140 on 11/07 but case status did not change. I am a little worried.

No nothing happens automatically in USCIS. If your company sponsored I-140 is EB2 then try to get it relinked. If before relinking your EB2 NIW is denied then your I-485 is also denied with it. then you can't get it relinked.
