Two H-1's

Hi,
I am on H-1 visa working for Company A. I am trying to get a part time job for Company B. I know I have to apply for second H-1. However, do I need to wait until that H-1 is approved, or can I start working as soon as I apply. The two jobs are totally different. Thanks
 
Hi Sam,
are you sure that you can have 2 H1B at the same time? where could you get this info from? does the 2nd H1B have to be specified as a part time? if you decided to leave one of them at any time, would that be a problem?

I really appreciate your answers, I am in a similar situation and I don't know what to do?
