Indeed. The fear I have, however, is of having to deal again with the dysfunctional monster that is USCIS. Getting a replacement card sounds simple, but when you send in that form you are giving them a chance to screw you by issuing a card with errors, losing your application, etc....The loss of the card is not the loss of one's PR status.
Couldn't agree more. In fact I have lost credit cards before. However, a simple phone call to the CC company fixed everything and I got my new CCs within days and everything was fine. I just know the process won't be as smooth with USCIS.One risks more if you lose your credit card, and those we all carry in our wallets![]()
I'm just going to carry my actual card when driving within 200 miles of the border (I live in a southern border state and have seen CBP checkpoints that I've gone through in the past with my passport and visa) and air travel, including domestic.
