two biometrics appts

we got a notice for a biometrics appt on 3/14 then a week later got a notice for same appt on 3/21.

I called uscis and they said just show up to the first one and bring documentation concerning the error.

Has this happened to anyone else?

2nd FP appt with different dates

My husband has the same problem. He got one NOA dated 2/23 for 3/12 FP appt. which he has gone for already. However, he received a 2nd NOA dated 3/2 for a FP 3/20. Besides the dates all else are the same. the case types are listed as I485 and I765 on both notices. The codes are both "3".

Any advice on this? Do we ignore the 2nd notice?

We tried the 1-800-375-5283 number but could not get any appropriate option and could not get to a rep. Should he go for the 2nd appt?

we were told it was a mistake, but it does not hurt to go anyway just to be sure
