Hi All,

Anybody able to get an early appointment in Chennai consulate? We have to be in the U.S. by the first week of May but unable to get an appointment before July 5th!!!!

I have to get my L1 B stamped and there is no way I can get an early appointment.

Suggestions? Tips?? Please share your views.

I think you should try to get an appointment in Delhi or Kolkata instead of Chennai. Chennai is known for the 'delay' but in Delhi chances are more to get open dates so you will be able to prepone the appointment, make sure you keep checking TTS website. Heard now they allow only 5 logins per day. Good Luck
 
Take an appointment at eariest possible date and you can wait list to a prior date. You can find this option in the web site.

unfortunately they neither have the waitlist option now nor will they allow us to get the VISA stamped in Delhi or Kolkatta!

Yes, it is true that we can check only 5 times and U got to be really lucky to find an earlier appointment :(
