Does any body know if each SC follows a diferent calendar?

TSC: SRC-02-269-xxxxx says Received Sept 17th, 2002
NSC & VSC: LIN/EAC-02-269-xxxxx says Received Aug 23rd, 2002
CSC: WAC-02-269-xxxxx says Received Aug 30th, 2003

Also, NSC message says between 450 and 480 days to process I485 case (if any one cares).

it says "between 365 and 540 days" at VSC

and it says "between 160 and 180 days " for CSC

NSC faster

NSC is definitely much faster compared to TSC. A friend of mine applied concurrent 140/485 in NSC 01/03 and got his 140/AP/EAD approved 2 months back even after an RFE. He expects 485 to be approved in about a year!

We all have to pay price for being TX residents, the land of Mr. President - how ironical!

02-269

All of you seem to have misunderstood the initial question. I think what Dinnu is refferring to is that all these receipt numbers were supposed from the same day, but each service center says its a different day. Day 269, of the year 2002 is a different day on our calandar for each service center.

Interesting observation.

Another way to phrase the inital question:
Does the fiscal year start on a different day for each service center?

curiousGeorge,

You got it right about my question.

I don't think the fiscal year starts on a different day for each SC. But it may be possible that they have different holiday schedules. But it still does not explain the huge diff (Aug 23rd vs Sep 17th)

It could be ND

Is it possible that the dates in those SRC, LIN, etc #s reflect the date they issued notice (ND) instead of the RDs. In another words, the different centers started the fisical year on the same date (or maybe one month different). The difference is the delay between RDs and NDs. So now we can see which center is the slowest snail.
