TSC Vs. NSC/CSC & Processing Delay

1. Read a brief article about NSC's "bi-weekly" processing time reports. They're following CSC in this new procedure. If only TSC can approve a few cases now and then, it too can publish a reasonable MONTHLY report! They only change every month is the Date Reported on top of the Processing Times table.

2. This was interesting: "As the NSC explained in its report, the 485 applications MAY NOT BE WORKED in received-date order due to the requirement to obtain criminal background check results and the A-File. " Hmm ... does that in part explain TSC's random processing?!

May be

It may explain to an extent of some people at the end of 2001 are getting approval before applicant before them. But not to an extent that apply in July 2002, FP in Aujust 2002 and approval in September 2002 while people are waiting from 2000. I feel, as somebody said, TSC has some fundamental problem somewhere that they don't care to look into and resolve it

90 % old cases and 10% new ones

I read in another forum "180 days" group in Yahoo groups that TSC is trying to catch up with old cases and trying not to create another back log.
They work 90 % on older cases and 10% with new ones (2002).
I still believe this because not all the 2002 are being approved just a few, most B2 or PD very old.
