Interviewed today, Passport stamped on spot.
The only reason might be the medical exam expired (done almost 2 yrs ago).

The lady was polite, nice, and beautiful.
We got there 1.5 hrs ahead of appointment time (in case of heavy traffic).
What unexpected was she had to leave right away, and run out of bldg looking for "us".

I even dared to joke her:
"We'll go with you without our lawyer unless you promise a PASS".

It took only 20 min in all, and that's it, that's it, that's it !!!!!!!!!!!
We really enjoy this PASS by savoring every detail of the interview.

Thanks for all the info got from here, and good luck to those still waiting for PASS.

Here is my info:

Interview and RFE?

Congratulations! Good for you.

I just have a quick question if anyone knows - is an interview always required? Isn't it just the passport stamping? Or it's more like RFE, some people get interview request and others don't?

Thanks!

Foreman, what is your RD and ND?

Was you case filed at TSC initially? Which INS office your case was transferred? Also, when was your case transferred and when did you receive the interview letter?

Some of these info can be helpful to people whose case has been transferred.

Please let us know

Sorry for the wrong or missing info.
My mind was in cloud 9 yesterday.

Here is my info again:
EB3, China
PD: 5/4/1998
RD: 1/16/2001
FP: 1/23/2002
Interview notice: 4/23/2002
Interview: 8/14/2002

My case was initially filed to TSC, and transferred to local WPB/FL.
I do notice that the reason for transfer remains a big issue here.
It certainly has tortured us greatly in the past 4 mth.

My lawyer claimed that only 1/1000 of EB needs interview.
"They are simply more cautious recently about your job".
(almost all interviewed that day don't look like EB)

For my specific case, two reasons might have ground:
1. Medical Examination expired.
2. My company being too tiny.
Since that charming lady cared nothing on the I-485,
but read the company letter and MD exam word by word.

About passport stamping(to pennn433):
It serves as temporary GC(gd for 1 yr) before getting the physical card.
Everybody will do the same thing, a benefit.

Thanks for your congratulations, and good luck to all.
