thanks for keeping this thread alive. Please, please create your detailed signatures with RD, ND, FP, RFE, AD dates etc. it is very helpful, saves the trouble of asking again and again, when did you get your FP? Judging from the activity in this thread, it seems that all May, June July filers got approved or what?
No movement in my spouse's I-485.

USCIS processing time that appeared today (10/15/07) says that they're processing cases with receipt dates of August 2006! Last month it was December 2006. What's going on? Do I have to worry about these dates if I've gone for fingerprinting?

October 16th Update for July 2nd Filers: Spoke to am IO today!
I just spoke to an IO, she said they are currently reviewing applications from Aug'06 therfore it will take them another year to review the 485 cases from July'07.
485 filed on July 2nd
09/22 FP
09/18 got EAD card

I sort of figured Id have to wait at least a year for this. No surprise there... 5 months so far...
Same here.. got receipets and Wife's EAD i didnt appy for EAD.. waiting for FP notices. The problem is i have a vacation planned from nov 16- nov 26 and i hope the FP dont come at that time...

If that happens, you can take your tickets as proof and visit the immigration center that youre suppose to be finger printed at, they sometimes will allow you to do it there on the spot, or you can always call and reschedule if need be.

RFE on 485: help needed
I am at NSC.
My lawyer informed today that RFE is received. It has following items:
1. Need for I-797. All of these were filed, don't know why they are asking.
2. Need for Employer letter. Again this was sent last year. May be because of time lag.
3. Birth certificate.
This is what troubles me a bit. I had attached a birth certificate from Registrar of Birth and Death. The registration date was recent since birth was never registered. I got this translated from Hindi to English.
I have been asked to provide a birth certificate from local registrar. I don't know what to do with this.
I do have an affidavit signed by my mother stating that birth was not registered at the time of birth.
Please tell me if anyone has a similar experience.

I have the same ND as you do (Oct 01).
But we 're still waiting for FP. Will wait one-two weeks and then call and inquire.

RFEs are usually a good sign. Hopefully some good news should be coming your way soon.
TSC - 485 Processing date changed from Aug'06 to 6 Months
I just happened to check the TSC 485 processing dates and it had changed from Aug'07 to 6 months.

Still no FP.
Heard from a friend's attorney that TSC is extremely erratic in sending FPs and it takes a good 2-3 months after ND to schedule and send FP.
Dec 1st will be 2 moths since ND for me. Do you guys think I should call TSC and inquire about FP or just stay put?
