TSC Processing Time (11/15/2002)

Depressing news

Bajis, I let my hopes go up too high when the dates moved from 5/02 to 8/02 for 485 processing at TSC. Seems like TSC is losing its steam again. HEY AT LEAST WE SURVIVORS CAN FACE STRESS ANY TIME IN OUR LIVES AFTER THIS ORDEAL FINISHES.:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

TSC Processing Time (11/30/2002)

Hey what do you know ... another Processing Time update from our dear old TSC:

Latest Processing Times:
==================
EAD: 08/26/2002 (moved 19 days in the last 15 days)
AP: 10/23/2002 (moved 23 days in the last 15 days)
I485: 11/01/2000 (moved 31 days in the last 15 days)

TSC Processing Time (12/15/2002)

Everyone must have seen this already. FYI.

Latest Processing Times:
==================
EAD: 09/13/2002 (moved 18 days in the last 15 days)
AP: 12/03/2002 (moved 41 days in the last 15 days)
I485: 11/01/2000 (unchanged in the last 15 days)

I guess no one believes in I485 processing time anymore anyways!

TSC processing times skewed for AP

I think the processing times for TSC are misleading, since in the last week, I called and reached an IIO twice, both of whom said that they were still processing 10/23/02 ----maybe true, since, if you swap the 0 and the 2, you get 12/03/02

But on the other hand, I checked 8 different numbers for Advanced paroles, which all had rds of 11/29/02, and guess what??? One was approved, and another transferred to a local INS center, and the rest, were pending. Also, from other websites, I'm seeing people with approved I-140s, who seem to get their APs in about 1 month or less!!!
Mine is concurrent filing, with 12/02/02, so I'll not be so lucky, but I severely need my wife's AP!!

concurrent Vs approved I-140

Hi worried_sick:

I agree with what you are saying. Those with approved I-140's are getting AP's in less than a month. Concurrent filers have to wait till a preliminary review of I-140 is done. Mine is concurrent filing with 10/03 ND & I am waiting for my wife's AP. I even know of another person with 9/17 RD (concurrent filing) waiting for AP.

==================
EAD: 09/21/2002 (moved 8 days in the last 16 days)
AP: 12/04/2002 (moved 1 day in the last 16 days)

TSC Processing Time (01/15/2003)

Latest Processing Times:
==================
EAD: 10/01/2002 (moved 10 days in the last 15 days)
AP: 12/04/2002 (unchanged since 01/01/2003)

Is there a freeze on AP petitions? What happened?! :confused:

Bajis
Great work on dates followup in TSC. AP rd 31st oct'02 ND 1st Nov,02 after numerous calls found that AP is approved on Dec 3rd but still with supervisor for reasons known to them. Any inputs.

TSC Processing Time (01/31/2003)

Ah, the bi-weekly publication of joy from TSC. Here's the latest (but not the greatest).

Latest Processing Times:
==================
EAD: 10/03/2002 (moved 2 days in the last 16 days)
AP: 12/04/2002 (unchanged since 01/01/2003)
I485: 11/01/2000 (unchanged since 11/30/2002 release)

It looks like we(TSC filers) made some karma(sin) to be in Texas service center. I never had a choice to be in other service center though. My company is based in Texas. What a bad luck!!!!!.:eek:

TSC Processing Time (02/15/2003)

This post is dedicated to all the souls who still believe in a TSC miracle.

Latest Processing Times:
==================
EAD: 10/03/2002 (unchanged since 01/30/2003)
AP: 12/04/2002 (unchanged since 01/01/2003)
I485: 11/01/2000 (unchanged since 11/30/2002 release)

Am I dreaming or did TSC just change the date of the 01/30/2003 release to 02/15/2003 and released it again!! I'll edit this post if something changes in the 02/15/2003 processing times.

As usual, no improvement!

For last couple of months, TSC did not do anything: at least that's what its "processing time" explains! Everytime TSC's management comes up with some sort of lame (and bullcrap!) excuse: they are busy with this, they are busy with that. Surprisingly, it seems nobody at TSC's top management cares a single bit about this or (frankly speaking) they do not have any clue (or idea) what's going on! In any business environment, an employee is liable for his/her efficiency. I guess, in TSC's case, its management is not hold liable for its efficiency: because it is a part of a government agency, is it not? But why in the world, VSC, CSC and NSC are at least one year advance in processing I - 485 cases when the fact of the matter is, each of them is also a part of the same government agency! For the last five years or so, if anybody compares TSC with any other service center, TSC's efficiency is negative. There must be some other reason, (or explanation for that matter): why TSC's top management is so inefficient (or inert, if you say), when you compare them with VSC, NSC or CSC. I did not find the reason, guys and gals, may be you know that reason: what is it, what am I missing here?

If my guess would be true, One of the reasons would be huge amount of cases of being filed in TSC(Mexicans are largely populated in Texas besides the Asians). This is just my guess!!!.

bajis,

You mentioned that TSC has not advanced however that is not neccessarily true at least for EAD and AP. For example the EAD date says processing 10/3/2002 however i know of some people with dates after that middle/end oct whose EAD is cleared.

I dont know the basis of these dates from INS however i have seen that many cases filed after the dates listed are often cleared. Probabaly they report the slowest cases which are pending. I still believe that TSC is capable of miracles in coming months.

xiu_123,

Yes you're absolutely right. TSC processing times are meaningless. Not only EAD and AP, but even though I485 cases from 2002 have been approved, they still publish it as 11/2000! I guess this is just for name sake.

I don't even know why I follow it religiously. But it's become one of my hobbies :)
