Reaching a live IO is only luck... but to connect to the TSC do the following....
call the 800#..
1. press 1 for (english)
2.press 2 for (if u have filled a petition with us)
3. press 4 for (if u have recived our request for more evidence)
4. press 2 for (if our request was for more evidence)
5. press one for (if u know ur reciept #)
6. they will then ask u to enter ur recipt #.. just enter is
7. press 1 for if ur reciept # starts with SRC (or what ever ur recipt # starts with).. it really does not matter I haev been pressing 1 even before i make sure the information they r saying is correct, since the person that answers the phone will ask u for ur reciept again....
8. press another 1 for (if the reciept# u have entered is.............)
9. finally press one for (if u have more questions about ur RFE and would like to speak to a reprasentative)... there will be a recording and then u will be connected to the service center directly......

Yes, Annoosa, you are right, I called the gentleman was very rude there...He just repeated what is the same as online. He refused to transfer the call to TSC.

I am sorry. But I deeply appreciate your help to the whole forum community !

Annoosa / Grass, Folks I mentioned that repeatedly not to call that 800#. Guess you guys didn't notice those posts. Please don't confuse yourself more than what you are already now by calling USCIS. I would rather say you guys are lucky that them USCIS people were just rude with you but atleast didn't give you an heart attack by saying something like sorry we can't find your file please re-apply your I-485 or things in that nature.
You know those USCIS operators don't know nothing about your case status what so ever. All access those pour souls got is the same message that we all can see from case status over at USCIS website.
Now if one doesn't know how to read yes, that would be a great tool to call USCIS & ask them about case status. In that case those well educated operators could help reading that message for that person.
It's my honest suggestions to all you folks, if you want to know something please bring that issue to this forum & you will be glad that you did so cause not one but more than one will extend their helping hand to clarify that.
As a matter of fact Want, Lazer, Cody,Nasrmobin & the list goes on & on are no less than an immigration attorney. I must say in some cases I would say they even know a whole lot better than those attorneys. Cause people in this forum share things from personal experiences not from any law school theoritical staffs. In another words which one would you belive if one say Disneyland is really great or you been there looked at your own eyes & than say that's undoubtly true????
I wish I knew about this forum 2/3 yrs back. It sure could have helped me a lot to answer so many questions in my mind that put my blood pressure level so high that I'm lucky to be alive.
So please guys try to understand the situation. Why waste time doing something that is not going to do no good in the first place rather do something more constructive.
Please don't take it otherwise. It's not that I'm trying to humiliate you by saying this. It's just my personal experience. As you mentioned I called that 800# myself too 2/3 yrs back but as soon as I found out it's no use, didn't wait a second but quit doing so.

Thank you for the advice....

With all my respect to ur opinion.............. I totally do not agree with it.... first the USCIS website is not always accurate.. My I-140 was approved in Dec. 9 and still the online massage show that the application is received and is being pressed... so.....

Second if I had settled for what is online and not called and asked, I would not have found that my name check is pending. This piece of information that I found out by calling USCIS made me move fast, make my employer send letters to FBI and call them... and guess what... my name check is now cleared...............while if I have listened to all the advice I got from lawyers, people and congressman’s office to wait, I would have been stuck in name check for 2 years and then in retrogression for 2 more years... to the contrary, I am now expecting my GC any minute...

My friend in life there are people that sit and wait for things to happen... and there are ones that get out and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN.... I'm am from the second type... and no I do not agree with u... we should call and call and follow up on our stuff... it is called persistence...... and I encourage every one to do like me... since I did get my job done ;) ;) ;)

no its employment based

So,you are different from us. We are refugees. If we could not get G/C, we still have " indifinetely stay in USA"'s rights. You did a good job to catch up time.

Annoosa, and others,

Thank you for your sharing, and thank you for stopping by, please continue to share..

I greatly respect this forum and think it is much better than most of the lawyers because even lawyers they need experience and they do not have such a huge data base... I certainly like all options to speed up our case such as calling congressman, visiting this forum, conselling with friends, lawyers, visiting other forums, directly call to CIS.... In this specific thread I concur with Annoosa, I think basically we just want to make many pushes to CIS and who knows one of them will hit the right spot and trigger the speedy process ( And certainly one of them will work ! ). I do not mind to be treated unfairly because after all we are not yet USC... I also believe inside CIS there are people with compassion and we just need luck..

So everybody continue to share, and help others, and I also know we need to respect different personalities...
