TSC or go local?

I am not at that point yet as I am still waiting for my LC from ATL federal, but here is the quesitons anyways:

If I got it correctly than to my undrstanding you can either file your I485 to your service center or to your local office. In my case TSC or Miami. I see in the reports, it takes about 2 years at TSC and 9-10 months at MIA. So would there be any advantage to go and file to TSC because it seems it would be processed a lot quicker locally.

Or did I misunderstand something?

For EB category,

as far as I know, you need to apply at TSC.

If I go to this page, and follow the described process, at "Step 8" it sais differently. Are they giving out some useless info or am I a dork not understanding what they wrote?

You guys are right... I just dove into the INS page and yes indeed employment based has to file to a Service Center.
