TSC is turning back to I-485

Folks, I have been pessimistic about TSC I-485 for a while. It is not understood that TSC almost stopped processing I-485 in the past 6 months. Now it seems daybreak soon. If you run the script on the case numbers of not only 2001 fliers but 2002 fliers, you will see TSC has approved a bunch of I-485 in May. Although those people don't like share their information with us, we can fortunately use the script to get information. I'm sure TSC is turning back to handle I-485 cases. Please notice that TSC I-485 approval is driven by FP. So a flood of approvals is coming!:p :p :p :p :p :p

i am 485 2001 filer, got ft notice on march 19, and fingerprinted on may 6 on time, then yesterday they upate online info as:

"On May 16, 2003, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

we are all enough, hope there is 485 approval flood soon

There has also been speculation going around that some of these might not be employment based and some approvals might be (NIW, EB1) category. Though I wish I could share your optimism we will wait to see until we see some concrete news and some steady approvals from folks who visit this and other sites. But keep up the good thoughts, perhaps all the good thoughts will somehow turn TSC around :cool:

online not updated yet, but both FBI and INS confirmed separately that our prints were received and O>K on 4/2/2003.

THE CONCLUSION MAY BE THAT AN ONLINE UPDATE ON FP RECEIPT MAY ACTUALLY MEAN THAT THE FILE IS ACTUALLY ON SOMEONE'S DESK AWAITING ADJUDICATION.

Hi, Use the search button on the top of this screen and look for FBI phone number. They are exceedingly prompt and will give you the day they cleared and mailed ( in my case it seems to have been transferred electronically from FBI to TSC) your FP results to INS. I called the TSC number at 214 381 1423 on three consecutive days and got through to a nice IIO ( yup this species does exist) with what I think is a Filipino accent. I did not tell her that I had already called FBI and she gave me the same date as FBI and said our prints were O.K.

My online and AVm has been updated (even though I recieve another FP notice)

sorry to burst the bubble

But, update of FP received in the system does not mean that your file is sitting in somebody's desk. That is wishful thinking.

Ofcourse we all know that...

It is mere optimism which is keeping this forum alive!, in these confused and hopeless situation.
