TSC I130 Processing time Observation

I have been waiting for my Parents' I-130 to be approved from TSC. I have been checking the processing times on this site monthly. My findings are that in the entire 2002 calendar year, TSC only processed I-130s from 4/16/2001 to 6/8/2001. Which is less than TWO months' worth of petitions.:rolleyes:

It is a pity that in such a country of high hopes and freedom, nothing can be done about those worthless idiots working in the processing centers. I don't know what kind of productivity measures are in place for them.

So, if you filed a petition for your parents or spouse or children at the TSC, you will need tons of patience.
 
I-130 for parents

I filed I-130 for my parents at Nebraska Service Center which for the last 4 months has processed only 4 days. I decided to go to my native country and file in person directly. If you have the money and time check if your country does a direct consular filing and do it from there. It takes much much less time.

Me being from India, that is not an option. Also, even if I were to file for consular processing at the Mumbai Embassy, they inturn send the case to the TSC. So that wouldn't help much would it?

This is first time I heard that you could bypass filing I-130 (with parents outside of USA) for parents at one of 5 national service center. Could you enlighten us about how this direct consular filing work? For my case, the consular would be Guangzhou, China. Thanks,

I dunno why Sachin here called me Seabang but the TSC morons are still stuck at 6/15. I thought the New BCIS would improve things but I guess I was WRONG. :rolleyes:
