need help ..TSC Files in sanfrancisco

To all senior members : Today morning i contacted the congressman office and they mentioned that our files were sent to sanfrancisco .

I'm told to wait for couple of weeks to actually know what has happened.

Its very frustrating to hear this after 4 years. We have never lived in that place before.

Please post if anybody has this experience .

will they send the files back to TSC ?
will they send it to the local office ?

My details

RD may 25 2001
ND aug 21 2001
FP april 2003

I am not surprised

I was in a similar situation as you.

rd 05/21/2001
nd 08/17/2001
fp1 08/2002

When I contact the senators office I was told that my files were sent to the national archives by mistake and that once the files are back I will get a new fp notice. Since your dates are near mine, I am assuming something similar might have happened to this 'unfortunate batch of files'.

I have received a new fp notice. So I am hoping that this means my file is back at tsc.

Good luck to you
MJ

Thanks mj_no_1,

Can you provide me some details as to what will be my next step.

was ur file was sent to sanfransico too ?

will the senator office people will help us to get the file back to TSC or do we need to take help from attorney ?

will it be sent to local miami office or TSC ?

How long it will usually take to send the file back to the TSC ?

Thanks in advance

I dont know the answers to all your questions. But the only way it seems to get some results is through senators and congressman.

My files were sent to some archival facilty, dont know where it is located. I am assuming my files are back at tsc now, but I am not certain.

This transfer may not be such a bad thing after all. My case was transferred from TSC to VSC on 2/17, for no particular reason that I could see. Needless to say, I was livid about the whole thing at the time, and went and contacted my congressman. The case ended up being approved on 3/6, less than 3 weeks after the transfer. I know it's frustrating to see this happen, but it just may work out fine.

With best of knowledge, the files or cases won't be sent back to TSC.

Depedning on backlong at local office, your turn will come.

It may NOT be as bad new as you think. It your case is clean case - you should be fine

In my case the file was sent to some storing facility -- not a local office where they process the applications. I believe now the file is back at tsc.

I live in florida /miami.I have never lived in sanfransico and not changed job. At this point i'm not sure what is going on .Congress man has told they will provide me some status in 30 days.

As you know TSC customer service is reading the same information what we see in the website.

Nothing is changed in the message .It still says finger print recived on ....

when i put an inquiry at TSC , i got a mail saying that they are processing files before may 23 2001. My receipt date is may 24 2001.

I'm waiting for 30 days period to put one more inqiry .

Similar thing happened to me.

Transferred from TSC to VSC local office (Still don't know what office)
The only reason I could think of was my employer originally had offices there.

Approved after 2 weeks.

I know it is tough to be in that situation.

Hoping you will be approved soon. Good luck.
