My EAD application was transferred from VSC to TSC on May 22nd. I havent received any updates yet.

Anyone in the same situation?

Its been more than two months since I paper filed my application at VSC. I am not sure if TSC will consider my original filing date or the transferred date as the receipt date.

I am in the same boat - my application, filed at VSC late April was transferred to TSC, and I got the transfer notice around 24 May. Last LUD was 6/12, with the message that this application is now pending at this office... but nothing after.

I have plans to travel mid-August. Is there any way to hurry along the AP application? I am less concerned about EAD since my current EAD is valid till the end of August.

Has anyone with a transferred AP/EAD got an approval from TSC? Could you please respond with your application and transfer dates?

One of friend show written emergency to visit India on infopass appointment and he got the AP next week.

I Applied EAD TSC on 4/30/2007, did FP on May 30th. Still pending.
AP RD 4/1/2007 AD:6/19/2007.

Does any one know how long its taking for EAD?

I am not sure a prepaid vacation would qualify for an emergency, but I could try...

Wow, 2.5 months - and you applied straight at the TSC! I think my transfer date is 24 May - that definitely does not give me enough time! :(
 
EAD/AP application received by TSC on 05/04/07...

My renewal application for EAD/AP was received by TSC on 05/04/07. AP approved, EAD is still pending.

EAD Card ordered 6/27/2007. Recieved Date is 4/30/2007. I think in TSC its taking 2 months to get EAD.
 
can one file ead and AP renewal 5 months in advance?as you all know july there might be a lot of new 485's filed,so there may be delay in ead approvals.so i plan to file renewal of my ead and ap .
how many months in advance did you all file?

EAD approval pending at TSC

I filed my EAD online at Texas Service Center on 5/18/07 and still pending, here are the details:


4th I-765 RD 5/18/07 , FP 6/16/07, LUD 6/18/07 & 6/19/07, AD ???
Labor PD 10/10/02
I-140 RD 06/23/04, AD 10/x/04
I-485 RD 06/23/04, FP1 Apr 05, RFE response 6/x/05, 03/10?/07 (VSC to TSC)
FP2 5/11/07, Last LUD 5/8/07
 
On the same boat

I'm getting frustrated...but I was told in this forum that because of the July Visa Bulletin, the officers got pulled to work on I-485 and so forth. We have to wait 90 days and call them because that EAD supposed to be processed within 90 days after received date.

EAD Finally approved

I got an email at 7:54 PM yesterday approving my EAD:) Now let's see how long it takes for the I-485. Hopefully I don't have to renew this EAD.
 
Finally got EAD before expiration

I finally got the email at 1:30pm 7/18/07 that card production has been ordered for my EAD renewal at TSC.

I filed my EAD online at Texas Service Center on 5/18/07 and my current EAD was expiring on 7/22/07. I got the approval just in time. I had contacted Congressman's office and faxed twice (7/11/07 and 7/13/07) to TSC to expedite my EAD. I gave valid reasons for applying late (less than SLA time of 90 days). Congressman's office emailed USCIS on 7/13/07 and on 5th day, I got approval email. Not sure if the fax reached them first or they acted upon Congressman's request.

Last year I got approval in 4 weeks (at VSC) but this year it is taking longer (at TSC).

EAD/AP is approved and Card is ordered got email on Saturday 07/28/2007.

Not yet approve...

My wife's EAD & AP were applied on 27 April and my notification date is 30 April. However, we yet to receive any approval till now. Her EAD will be expiring early next month. I hope we can receive it prior to expire...:mad:
 
Just an update - I sent a expedite request letter to TSC for the AP, with a LOT of documentation (this trip is a family reunion, and I sent the prepaid tickets and prepaid accomodation arrangements of EVERYONE coming - more than 15 people!) I also called up TSC and asked the IO on the phone for help - my main concern was the AP as I still had some time on the EAD. She said she would email the supervisor.

It was approved last week - EAD on 7/20, 7/24 (Primary & Derivative)
AP on 7/27 (both). I am very thankful, as our flight is next week.
