TSC Closed On Dec 26th.

Per www.immigration-law.com, Bush signed an executive order yesterday stating that all federal agencies shall be closed on Friday December 26th, 2003. Therefore, no TSC employees will be working on that date.

Not to be sarcastic. How many folks in here are optimistic that TSC folks would work on Dec 26th even if the office was not closed to relieve us of our close bond with them.

I do not require from TSC employees what I am not willing to do myself.

MY I485 RD is 10/04/2001.

I expect from TSC a fair system in which the first case to go in is the first case to go out. No exceptions. No political interference. No favoritism. No prejudice. Other than that, let them enjoy their holidays.

I thought they were unofficially closed from Jan 1 to Dec. 31 each year..... So why a special order for 26.?? Well maybe they get double pay for being closed or doing nothing on the 26th....
