Trying to Reach TSC

I got one IO at TSC yesterday and I had following experience:
ME: give my receipt number?
IO: ....................
ME: why my case pending over 8 months without any update since notice date?
IO: Your case is pending and within normal processing time
ME: what about your website says 6 months
IO: I can see in my system we are processing only early December 2006
ME: My congressman received response from TSC that my case with an examiner.
IO: I don,t see that here
ME: oh
IO: wait another 6 month
ME: ah....................
ME : OK, bye....................
Now I don't know whom to trust. My congressman told with an examiner as of November 13th but I don't see any activity on my case still LUD same as notice date. Today filed DHS 7001 in overnight.
GOD only knows about my case.

May be lesser staff at TSC as holiday season started - just a guess...
and more staff at NSC ( still less )...
I would suggest keep calling... see your luck
After a 30 minute wait I was finally able to speak with a TSC IO today around 9:15 AM CST. I took an InfoPass appointment where they said our name checks had cleared (this was on Nov. 26th). When I spoke with the TSC IO, the IO mentioned both our name checks are pending since August 10th (initiation date).
Not sure whome to trust, I have taken another InfoPass appointment for Dec. 4th. Hopefully I can find out more details. I know people have been waiting for years and years....but man...is this frustrating!

should have asked fr OI number i.e. Office 150

My spouse file 7001 on 27th overnight. So, lets track if there is any progress and response for 7001.
