TRV process in Buffalo, NY.

Hi quick question. I applied last wednesday ( Jan 31st) through mail.
I sent my application and they received it the following day.
I'm just curious how long is the typical process to obtain a Temporary Tourist Visa I sent my application to Buffalo, NY. I'm F1 student and planning to visit Canada for 3 days. I included a self prepaid envelope so they can return it back to me.

Please enlighten me with some answers. I'm just concerned about the security of my passport.

Thanks hopefully. I can receive it with an approval next week may be on Friday of next week. Have u applied for a TRV before? Did you get an approval?

I just wish they would approve my application because I'm only going to stay there for 3 nights. I'm not going to apply for a U.S visa. I'm planning to use AVR and cross the border. My purpose is vacation only.
 
wow that was a long time ago. I guess your already Canadian. Well I'm a student in the U.S and I'm just planning to visit for my Spring Break.
