trip to India: shots question

I never though I will be asking this question.
I am traveling to India after 6 yrs. My son (3yrs old US born) is also visiting India for the first time.
Question:
What kind of shots /medication do we need to take. We are leaving in a month.I went to cdc site but did not get a straight answer.

------------ you dont require any shots to enter India if you dont have any medical problems. for your child check with his doctor
