Tricky Situation

I hold a B1 valid till August 1st '09.

I'm in US for business, sent by my french employer to set up a US office, find new clients, sign license contracts and build industrial partnerships. In other words, I'm setting up this startup company for the french parent business, and I will manage this US office thereafter.

About 3 months ago, I have met a woman (USC), and we started seeing each other. She got divorced last month and we're now planning on getting married in July. This is a lot to process for me at this point, everything has happened so fast, and I'm a little confused on the course of action with my legal status, but this must be for sure the best and most exiting year of my life yet!

Anyway, here's my question... I would like to know if it's possible for me to apply ALL of the following at the same time, and if yes, in which order should I send these forms?:

1) apply i-539 to extend my B1
2) apply for L1 visa
3) AOS for GC (family based> married to USC)

Should I first apply for the B1 extension, and THEN for the L1 or it doesn't matter? Or should I apply for the L1 directly and bypass the B1 extension? My understanding is that an AOS based on marriage may take a long time, and in the meantime I will have to start working officially for the US office I'm setting up (and not anymore as a french employee). Is that ok to apply for GC based on marriage, even though I also apply for B1 extansion and/or L1 visa at the same time?...

please help, i don't want to make any mistake... what should i do and in which order?

If you eventually intend to marry this woman, go straight to option #3.

i haden't really studied the possibility of doing so directly. what would happen if i apply for an AOS to get a GC (based on marriage with USC) but i don't receive an answer before august 1st? can i stay in USA with my new wife? will i still be in legal status, even though my i-94 will have expired?

i mean, does AOS application immunizes from deportation (until results)?
