Where was the much promised flood of approvals from last november ? Even the trickle which was seen for weeks before holidays has stopped completly.

Anyone knows what is going on ?

Here is a wild a** excuse.
With the USVisit BCIS is helping the border security folks in prosecuting the folks who have violated the immigration laws that they don’t have enough people to work on the backlogs.
Am I eligible to become a TSC spokesperson now.
:D

Here is another theory.

USCIS started an agency wide training course in anticipation of the "legalize the illegals" drive, which is about to be announced tomorrow. Therefore all processing on currently pending cases is frozen until further notice.

here goes another one

They are working on the CSC cases assigned to them as CSC is trying to reach its goal of adjudicating 485 within a year.

Folks,

Are you guys kidding or being sarcastic or is their any iota of truth in these theories ?

Please reply sincerly

Narl, do you happen to know who had promised 'Flood of approvals' ? Where is the source of this ?

The 'trickle' of approvals before holidays obviously stopped during Holidays.
Now again it has got back to the 'trickle' speed. 23 approvals so far in Jan 2004.
To change from 'trickle' to 'flood', we definitely need to support
Rajiv's lawsuit and TR22's & Ayan's efforts more.
