Dear Freinds,

My spouse is travelling to India thru Emirates Airlines. His I-485 is pending, he has a valid AP.

Could you gurus, please tell me what else (documents) should he carry. SInce he is flying via Dubai, there is no need of concerns about Transit visas, correct?

Please let me know if you have any recent travel experience(s).

Does emirate operate from US? I am flying thru emirates but from london. From NJ its virgin atlantic. I have a stopover in london. So i need to have a transit visa. If he is not stopping anywhere till dubai, then he should be ok. Check his return route aswell.
 
I think Emirates is now operating from New York directly to Dubia without stopover in Europe.

If he is stopping over in any European country except Amestradam, he needs to have a valid H1 or H4 visa stamp or he needs a Transit Visa to whatever country he is transiting through to Dubia.

Apart from AP, he also needs to carry I485 receipt, his valid Id (Passport and also DL if he has any other form of govt issued ID's), valid EAD if he has one and if he is the primary applicant for GC, then it is good to carry an Employment letter along with the above mentioned documents.

You are right, he is flying with a direct flight to Dubai from New York.
