travelling without AP

Hi,
I have a situation here and my AP is not yet thru in spite of requesting expedite processing. I am hoping it will be approved in next couple of weeks ( based on the visa dates published). Now , can I arrange someone here to pickup the approval and send it to India.
I am willing to take the risk of my AP not being approved in time for my return - I can get my vacation extended by couple more weeks.
Other than that does anyone forsee any problems. Does anyone had similar experieces. Any suggesstions are appreciated.

I have seen a post which had success with a similar roadmap.
I dont anticipate any problems...
