Travelling with valid I-551 Stamp Need Help

I have a valid I-551 Stamp in my passport, not yet received the Physical Card
I am travelling to India Via London , Dubai on Emirates ... Do i need a Transit Visa in London ...

I think you need to have the physical card to not require a transit visa. Please check with the British Embassy.
 
Travel to Canada shouldn't be a problem with just the stamp. This is just my personal opinion. Check with others who have travelled to Canada without the plastic.
 
I want to visit Canada too. We are thinking of going to stamp our passport next week. I called the consulate du general au canada and they said the passport stamp is fine. we don't need the physical card to visit canada.

We came back from Toronto a few weeks back. Went through road. That time, we didn't have our cards. It was a breeze. Going in, they looked at the passport - and asked purpose of the trip. Coming back in, looked at the stamp, checked the pictures, asked where we live -- and done! Don't worry. If you are travelling by plane, the inspection will be more easier.
