Travelling with I-551 stamp

Has anyone travelled with I-551 stamp to China ?

If you travelled outside the United States with I-551 stamp and no physical card, at POE what questions did they ask you? Did they ask for any documents?
 
I travelled to South Korea with I-551 stamping. No problem. I-551 stamping is recognised by all immigration authorities and airlines.

Went to Argentina on 551 stamp. Only difference is when I re-entered the country, I joined the citizen/permanent resident line at immigration :D
 
So as you can see, don't worry. I-551 stamp is good for entering the US and also work authorization until you receive the physical cards...

One things to note is that you need to have your address updated with USCIS, as these letters are not forwarded in case your address has changed. Something to keep in mind!
 
Travelling on Temporary Green Card

The IIO did not put I-551 stamp in my passport, instead he stamped on a seperate card.

Anyone travelled with temporary Green Card ?
