Travelling with conditional GC

I know this might seem like a silly question, but now that I have filed my forms. I was wondering if I get my conditional green card (married less than two years, but will be over a year in 2 weeks), will travelling abroad be a problem, if I had overstayed my visa by lets say 2-3 years. Or am I better off waiting till I get my conditions removed?

No, once you get your conditional green card approved, you can go in and out of the US without any problems. The conditional GC has the same benefits as the 10 yr green card. Overstay is forgiven by USCIS once your green card is approved, I would suggest that you DON'T use Advanced Parole to travel until you have your green card in hand.

Thanks. After reading these forums, I thought that filing for AP would've been redundant as I would have problems leaving.
