We (me and my wife) will be travelling to India in Jan/Feb. I have some questions related to VISA stamping.
Background :
I am on H1 and wife is also on H1. After coming here I changed my employer and have already stamped my passport with my current H1. My wife also changed employer but have not stamped the passport with new H1. since the old stamp is valid till Jul 2003.
We had baby 4 months back. So my wife was on maternity leave. But now, she can not get a project. So she is on bench. Employer used to pay, but since she is on extended maternity leave, right now, he is not paying.
Question :
When we travel to India or when coming back, will my wife have a problem if she does not have latest pay-stubs ? we are carrying letter from company (stating she is on extended maternity leave), latest W2, New and old company\'s 797 and any other documents required.
Please help...
