Travelling to India on a stamped passport

Guys need some info ...

After getting passport stamped at Newark for GC, can we go to India or we have to wait for the card to arrive. if we can go, what documents do we need to carry


Any help/advise is appreciated
 
Hi,
Once stamped You can go and enjoy your vacation. On return U will be taken to the immigration office room to check all your information as in Advance Parole travel.

I had a mimiliar situation last time when my sister travelled with passport stamped for green card and myself with AP. We both were taken to the immigration office and checked all the documents and let us in in 30 minutes. My sister didn't carried any documents execpt the Approval notice but they didn't ask any.

The Stamp is as good as the Plastic itself. Howver airport folks in other countries may ask for additional documents if they are not convinced.
