Guys

I intent to fly by BA, Both me and my wife have to get our visa stamped in India. I have a valid I-797 (Notice of Action). Will it be a problem in any of the transit airports such as

Heathrow, London
Frankfurt, Germany

I would appreciate If any body can share their knowledge / personal experience.

The simple answer is YES – you will require a transit visa if you do not have a valid US visa (visa which has not expired) stamped within your (and wife’s) passport. Possession of a valid I-797 (Notice of Action) is NOT enough.
You will NOT be allowed to board the aircraft at US itself – so make sure you (and your wife) get the transit visa.
