Travelling outside US on OPT+H1B

Hi Manoj Dhulipala, kr1979,
I am also in the same situation of "Travelling on OPT while H1-B is approved". My OPT is expiring in Dec'07 and also I recently got H1B approval (with new I-94 card). I am wondering whether I can go to India in June and come back in July on OPT status. I know students who went to India before applying for H1 with valid job Offer letter. But none went to India on OPT after getting H1B approval.

If anybody gets some useful info, please update here.

F1 to H1...travel to India

I would really appreciate if anyone can provide me with a solution for my situation:

" I am in school right now(just joined PhD,have an MS)and applied for my H1B in Adv Cap quota this FY2007 and got my approval.I am visiting to India for a month and be back in Sep,2007 well before my start date of Oct 1,2007.I was wondering if I will have any problem in my status in the interim if I leave the country and come back on F1."

Help is really appreciated....
