Travelling on H1 and H4 visa for spouse

Hi,

I got my h1 stamped on Jan 26 for company X and right now i am working in company Y, But due to marraige I have not yet travelled to US. I am still in india and planning to travel in end of Jul and join company X. My wife doent have H4 yet.
So my question is

1) Will I face any problem at immigration ?
2) should I get my wife visa now or after going there ?

If you go for H4 visa for your wife, counsel (if it is chennai) definitely going to ask what are you doing here last 6 months? Counsel may come to a conclusion that you do not have job at US.


Better go to US get 2 / 3 pay checks and apply h4 for your wife.
