I read many threads and posts in this forum, but i still want to make sure one thing-
My I751 is pending now and i have my NOA 1 ( 1 year extention letter )
I had my biometrics done.
My conditional green card will expire on 12/21/08.
I need to travel now and will be back in about one month (before conditional GC expires).
Do I need I551 stamp? In LA office, some people said they didn't stamp on passport anymore.
I asked because half a year ago when i was travelling to overseas, when i flew back to USA, the customs girl in that country said my GC will expire in half a year. She still let me go, but i wonder when the GC closes to expire, is that a trouble to leave that country to enter USA?
