Hi,
I am travelling to india during the 2nd week of April , i got my green card stamp couple of weeks back , Can anyone tell me if anybody had a experience of travelling via LONDON without a U.k Transit visa because as per the airlines and the consulate they say I-551 stamp on the passport is not enough to pass through UK without a valid visa , so they say we must have a physical card. I am not sure if all the airlines have become very strict about the visa , i know that Continental airlines flying out of Newark to London they demand you to have a visa if you are a Indian citizen and carrying a I-551 stamp .
Does anybody has any other thoughts ?
Thanks
