Travelling after stamping

My GC was approved about 2 months ago and I am waiting for plastic cards. When I went for stamping the officer took the EAD, advanced parole but forget to take I-94 card. I am planning to go outside USA, Should I take the I-94 with me or keep at home.

I am surprised they forgot to take your I94s.

Stamp in passport is good enough for travel. However, you should receive your plastic cards any day now. So, why not wait a little longer and travel with your card?
