Travelling abroad while AP is still pending

Hello Experts,

Need you advice on my situation w.r.t. AP.

My last AP expired on 4th Oct 2008. AP renewal was file around 1st week of Jun 2008 and it was approved on 9th Sep 2008. But while this AP renewal application was pending, I travelled abroad (started on 1st July 2008 and returned back on 23rd July 2008) and entered US on old AP which was still valid (till 4th Oct) at that time.

My question is, since I travelled abroad while my AP application was pending, does it invalidate the AP even though it was approved without any issue.

I am planning to travel abroad next week and want to know if I can enter US on AP (the same one which was pending while I travelled)?

If you traveled and returned back with valid unexpired AP, then you are safe even if you have another one pending during that time. Pending AP application has nothing to do at all with previous AP still valid. Travel with the new one with no problem.
