Is it okay to travel abroad when onen has passed the interview but before the oath ceremony? My dad recently passed the interview but needs to travel abroad for about two weeks. He has not received any date for the oath yet. Will someone ask about this journey at the oath ceremony?

Yes. He will have to submit information about his travel dates at oath ceremony. It shouldn't be any concerning issue as long as this travel doesn't conflict with continuous residence clause.

Yes, there is a section at the back of the oath ceremony notice that he will receive. There, he will just put down his travel info about the travel he made after the interview. Not a big deal for short trips.

Traveling out of the US after the interview will not be a problem as long as your dad keeps note of the trip details ( duration). This will be a mandatory requisite that needs to be fulfilled correctly at the time of the oath ceremony. Make sure to take all the proof with respect to the travel.

Okay, but will they do anything else with that slip? Will this casue him any delays at the oath ceremony becaused officers have to check it up or something similar?
