Traveling with RTD + NP

I need suggestion regarding my upcoming trip during the first week of september.

I'm traveling with NP + RTD, Since the country (Qatar) I'm traveling to does not accept RTD's ( Not COP) . The visa was issued on my NP and I'm planning to enter US with my RTD.

My question is Can I depart the country (Qatar) to US with my RTD even though I entered the country with my NP as visa was issued based on my NP. If anyone can share their personal experience .

I've already purchased the ticket and its a family emergency otherwise I'm holding off my trip for few years. I will look forward for your responses. Thank you all

I dont know how it is in qatar, but I am assuming you can use NP to exit qatar and when they ask you visa, show the RTD. May be, someone has experienced it.

I know a 2 people that have done it successfully. But I also know 1 person who was searched at an airport and questioned for hours about carrying two passports (without consequence).
What will you say if a US immigration officer asked you why your RTD does not show any trace of your outbound trip?
This can easily be done in my opinion. But I do not know that it is legal.

Do you have a GC? It's safer if you do. I don't know if you're allowed to use your NP if you haven't yet got your GC.
