Traveling when F1 Visa is close to expiration.....

My current F1 visa stamp expires on Jan 20, 2006. I would like to travel to India this December and come back on Jan 15, 2006. My I-20 is valid until Dec 2007. I am a transfer student now attending an university different from what my visa was originally issued for.

Will I have any problems at the port of entry at the US or at any transit airport like in Frankfurt?

I wanted to enquire you, what happen in your case?

I'm in a similar situation of traveling on OPT and think your suggestions will be helpful.
