I have L2 stamped around 8 Months back based on my wifes L1. She is working in an reputed Indian company . Due to some reason we could not go after the stamping. Since our visas are stamped for 3 yrs we are looking for the option to move to US in July'07. But prior to that I myself as an L2 Visa holder would like to go alone earlier to make arrangements for our relocations.
1) Now since the work area is different as per earlier petition is it possible to enter US on L2 alone before L1 Visa holder entering US or I have to apply for some other category of Visa.
2)If possible can I stay in US till my Wife (L1 Holder) joins me in US along with my daughter (L2 stamped).
3)What entry port should I select to enter US should it be same as mentioned in petition or can I enter any where in US.
Please answer my queries I would be very much oblidged.
