Traveling to Mexico with AP

Hi

I have an Advance Parole, which I received when I did my concurrent filing late last year. My 140 is approved and my 485 is in process (since Nov 06). My question is, can I travel outside the country, like Mexico, on vacation with this AP?

My second question is - has any one in a similar situation traveled to Mexico (Cancun) using their AP? Do you need a visa to travel there? Usually a tourist card is all you need and you can get that at the port of entry. I am from India and heard that I would need a visa, even though I have an AP.

Can someone please help me with this? I sincerely appreciate your response

Check the Mexico embassy site. I think you will need visa and AP is not for going out of US AP is for entry to US
