My current H-1B expires in Oct 2004, and I have applied for extension. Assuming I get the approval for extension before November, can I fly to India using the expired H-1B stamp and the extension approval with transit airport being Paris, France?

My travel agent said that the airport authorities at Paris are very strict and they don't allow expired visa holders to transit. This despite the fact that there is an approval notice in my hand.

Any thoughts?

----- I think these days France ,UK, Germany ,Swiss all need Transit Visa stamp if you dont have H1B Visa stamped, it is better to get Transit visa
Any thoughts?
