TRAVELING to INDIA with AP . AC21 Case

I am an AC21 case and planning to travel to India. What are the doucments I need to carry. My Passport also has stamping for H1B from the OLD employer and is valid till 2006. Hope this does not cause any problem.

Folks, please give me some directions on this.

AP+Passport

I have been on a lot of international trips. Have your AP and Passport. Period. The rest documents you will carry will be more for your satisfaction. The INS does not ask for those.
 
My lawyer suggested:

AP, Passport, I-140 approval notice, 1-485 receipt notice, Employment Letter, 3 recent pay stubs and EAD. I carried some bank statements as well.

When I entered the country all I showed was the PP and AP. But, I always say it's better to be safe than sorry.
