Hello Rajivji,
I have 2 case scenarios
1. My friend intends to travel to India for a month return back end of March. During the stay the company would register for H1B lottery. He will be back before the lottery results but given the trump executive order should he be travelling in the first place? This is the first time applying for H1B current status is OPT EAD. Previously he accepted a job for a contract but did not start and got a new full time job. But the i-20 has contract job on it because position was accepted and then before starting it the actual work he joined another company. But i-20 has start and end date on it.
2. Myself personally wanted to travel to India this year. I am currently working as a contractor through a staffing company for the client. I am also on OPT EAD. Should I be worried of traveling and re-entry could cause problems? We both have valid F1 visas.
Please discuss this in your live video it would really be helpful to get some clarity on this situation. Thank you so much!
