Traveling to India on OCI without SC (Indian passport has cancelled stamp)

Checked Consulate websites for SF and NY and they state that if you have an Indian passport with cancelled stamp, you do not need a SC. I was wondering if anyone has had issues traveling to India in this scenario. Do the immigrations officers give any hassles?

I see that you have OCI ... I don't think you would have any issues. They shouldn't even ask you for your Indian Passport or SC, but its India you can not guarantee anything.

Better keep your Cancelled Indian passport in your pocket just in case somebody ask you to show it.
