Guys, we are planning on traveling to Hawaii this September. Didn't apply for a Advanced Parole since I am not planning on going outside the US but coming back from Hawaii will create any problems? anybody here traveled to Hawaii while your GC pending without advanced parole?

Cheers

Not a problem

My wife and I wanted to goto Hawaii in 02 but the lawyer advised against traveling outside US mainland. I didn't believe him and in 04 we went to Hawaii. Absolutily no problem returning. it was just like a domestic flight. You do get one form to sign and say that you are not bringing any plants back from hawaii. But we had absolutily no problem returning in Dec 2004. Check with your lwyer also.

Thanks Surf and Praet. I was thinking the same but just thought to double check. I am self filer and don't have a lawyer so i rely on the info from websites

Hipahipa! ;) ;)

hi there, never mind u got no problem.ur id is fine.any flight coming from another country has to get its passangers go thru immigration.since ur flight is domestic u wont even see any immigration officer when u going or coming home.

Hope you enjoy your trip to Hawaii (That's where I live). It's part of the US as has been stated by other posters and you'll have absolutely NO problem travelling here as it's still within the US. Aloha!

Shas123,
Don't worry about AP and enjoy your trip to the youngest state. It is a great place. A third of my honeymoon was spent there!!!

On that note, don't go close to the Southern US border thinking it's part of the US. Border patrols are hundred miles north of the border in some places. We've had to show our passports. But it's not a POE strictly speaking so I don't know if you'd need AP to come back from a southern border trip.

DO: Houston, TX

wow! your application was fast. I'm also in Houston.

I used a lawyer and they said they submitted the application in April but the Receipt date from Immigration is July 9, 2007 so I doubt it that my lawyer submitted our papers in April.
I'm so disappointed with the lawyer.
