Traveling To Canada

I currently have a valid AP (which I used last year to go back home) and planning a trip to canada. Do I need to obtain a Canadian visit visa?

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think so, because you are still citizen of your origin country and

not obtained a Permanent Resident status yet.

What are you talking about?

The site clearly says:
"persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or can provide other evidence of permanent residence."

Having an AP does **NOT** constitute evidence of permanent residence.

Pls don\'t mislead people!
