Traveling outside USA while N400 pending

My N400 is pending since Feb '08. I have not heard from them since fingerprinting in March '08. I have a valid GC and now, I am planning to travel outside of USA for little over 1 month and have some questions. Do I need to apply for any spacial documents before I leave? Will it interfere with continuous residency requirements? (I have not been outside of USA for last 9 years, even for 1 minute)? How do I update USCIS about this travel?

Thanks in advance.

No need to do anything special except have someone check your mail occasionally just in case the interview letter arrives.

1 month of travel won't interfere with continuous residency requirement.
You'll be able to update USICS of your travel dates at the interview.

I was in the exact situation like you. You can travel just fine. I went home for a month after applying N400. Just make sure to update the N400 at the interview with the new travel info.
