Does anybody knows when I could re apply for another RTD after receiving one?
For context I just got one delivered with it being valid Feb 2026 - Feb 2027.
Since the processing time takes so long, I wonder if it's safe to just re apply right away?
Can I still use my current RTD after re applying?

You can apply right after receiving it. Eventually they will issue a RFE so you can return the expired RTD

I applied Nov 2024 and got it approved Feb 2026. 15 months long.

You can apply right after receiving it. Eventually they will issue a RFE so you can return the expired RTD

that's untrue as they don't ask to send back the RTD cause your new one gonna be issued anyway after the current one expires so they do not nedd it!

That sounds about right. I applied for the new RTD the same day I received my current one lol
So my expectation is by the time the new one is approved, the current one should be expired by 3-4 months.

Another untrue info! This forum became a source of too many rumors unfortunately! You can’t file RTD online at all!!

I just noticed that there's that option now.

That online option for I-131 isn't for RTD unfortunately. It's for different types of Parole etc.

how were you able to use RTD when applying? It only allows you to provide your passport details and not RTD

I don't think it asked about passport details

weird...I just applied for it and it asks for your passport details (Not RTD)
